How fantastic that I can sit in my hotel room in Johannesburg and watch Chelsea play Cluj live in the Champions League tonight. There's footy galore on South African TV channels. Since I've been here I've watched football from all over Europe and Africa on free-to-air TV.
Chelsea struggled to a 2-1 victory against an exciting looking Romanian team. The game was relatively incident free, although Mikel can consider himself a little lucky to have stayed on the field for a studs up challenge that could easily have caused serious injury.
Discovered a supermarket in the bowels of the plush Sandton hotel complex tonight. Bought some bottles of TAB (remember that?) and watched mice scurrying around the floor!
