Stoke City’s Rory Delap has had his claim for wrongful dismissal upheld.
As a result, the three-match suspension handed to him has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
Delap had originally received a red card for serious foul play in his side’s 2-0 FA Cup Fifth Round win at Crawley Town on Sunday 19 February 2012.
Well, there's a decision that's going to make refereeing decisions harder. How on earth to identify a dangerous challenge now? All in all a bad day for the referee.
