It's taken me a while to get around to posting this, not because of any doubt about the guilt of Suarez in his first game back after suspension, but because Messers Redknapp and Capello have been keeping me busy at work. This is a red card. It does not matter whether the kick to Parker's stomach was deliberate or accidental, it endangered a player's safety and is thus punishable with a red card. While I don't think Suarez meant to kick Parker, he did foul him first by pushing him.A kick in the stomach is violent conduct.
