Nothing wrong with Man City's goal vs Reading

If Gareth Barry had missed his 90th minute header against Reading, I wouldn't have been surprised if City had been awarded a penalty.
Reading had held out for 90 minutes, but Barry's goal was perfectly legitimate. Reading defender Nicky Shorey made no attempt to defend the dangerous Man City cross. Standing eight yards from his goal, he chose to back away from the ball and into Barry as the ball approached.
Barry jumped and Shorey's backing movement made it look as though the attacker was climbing on the defender. He wasn't. He was going for the ball and he got it.
City weren't very convincing, but there was nothing wrong with the goal.
