Ikea should sponsor Referees

Paid my annual visit to that charming Swedish store at the weekend and I may, or may not, have stocked up on the perfect referees' pencils while I was there. The little pencils customers are supposed to use to write down the name "Jernmalm" or "Fastighet" (Iron ore and Property respectively in Swedish, though Ikea obviously think they're exotic to the rest of the world) are perfect for referees.

Small enough to fit one in each pocket, they also slot into the notebooks we use.

So thank you Ikea, yet another satisfied customer. Oh yes and I got the chance to buy some pickled herring, gingerbread cookies and swedish beer.

Seriously though, if anyone out there knows anyone in Ikea's marketing department, why don't they get their names on referees's shirts. I wonder if Ikea have ever wondered why so many of their customers are referees.Well the cat's out of the bag.
