Ronald Zubar committed two reckless challenges, so he got two yellow cards and was back in the changing room after 40 mniutes of Wolves' match against Manchester United this afternoon.
The task was always going to be hard. Zubar's idiotic challenges did his struggling team no favours at all. The first challenge, on Wayne Rooney, was nasty. The only reason Rooney avoided a probable serious injury was with a desparate leap in the air.
Ten minutes later, having conceded a goal, Zubar then mistimed a challenge on Danny Wellbeck on the half way line. Not a particularly vicious challenge, but one that'll get a yellow none times out of 10 because it was totally unnecessary.
And within five minutes, Man Utd were 3-0 up. Silly, to say the least.
