I wish I supported Reading

As their team battled their way to a goal-less draw at Old Trafford on Sunday, I saw at least five Reading players smiling and laughing in separte incidents. A sub exchanged a joke with an assistant, two players exchanged a joke during a lull in play. What a delight to see. Other than this, I can't remember when I last saw a top footballer look as though he was actually enjoying the game. Coppell imbues a sense of enjoyment in his players that has carried them into the premiership and to famous points like the one they achieved today against the great Man Utd.
He is an intelligent man who encourages his players to think, and not many managers do that. I wish him all the best this season.

"I Wish I Supported Reading"

Sorry, but I don't believe I've ever seen that sentence in print before...
